NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Percy Langdon Wendell '13, Freshman backfield coach last fall, and captain of the 1912 undefeated eleven, died yesterday of pneumonia. Arrangements for the funeral, to be held Wednesday, will be announced.

Wendell, whose line plunges earned him the nickname "bullet," was one of Harvard's most distinguished gridiron performers. Captain of the undefeated 1912 team he was selected by Walter Camp for his "All-American" eleven; he was first marshall of the Class of 1913. From 1921 to 1925 he coached football at Williams, serving in the same capacity at Lehigh from 1925 to 1927.
