FRAME WINS CHAMPIONSHIP IN COLLEGE TENNIS SINGLES

D. M. Frame '32 won the singles championship in the Eastern Intercollegiate tennis tournament by a victory over Christenson of the Philadelphia School of Osteopathy last Saturday. The Harvard captain won his match in straight sets, turning back his opponent 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.

Two Crimson netmen survived the second round of the national intercollegiate tournament at Haverford, Pennsylvania, yesterday. Frame won from Hawley of N.Y.U., 6-4, 6-4, while W. C. Thompson '32 scored a victory over Britenis of John Hopkins, 2-6, 7-5, 6-4. S. E. Davenport '34 was put out in the same round by Holden of Wright Institute, 7-5, 6-3. J. M. Barnaby '32 yielded in the opening round to Case of Pennsylvania, 6-3, 6-2. More than 100 college players were entered in the tournament.
