HARVARD OARSMEN HAVE LAST WORKOUT ON RIVER

CASSEDY RETURNS TO PLACE AT STROKE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

When the four Harvard crews which will entrain for Red Top on Sunday evening, go out for their paddle this afternoon, they will be taking their last spin on the Charles River this season.

Preparations for the departure started yesterday when the "Class of 1898", Coach Haines' launch, and the "Frank Thompson", which Coach Whiteside uses, were run downstream through the harbor to be shipped by freight to New London.

Cassedy Back at Stroke

After a considerable delay yesterday afternoon, during which 15 members of the Health and Athletic Board waited patiently for their annual inspection trip of the crews in the launches, the Varsity and Jayvee eights took to the water for a brief workout. Cassedy, who did not row yesterday on account of a strained neck, was back at the stroke seat,

Although no announcement has been made by Coach Whiteside concerning the definite seatings of the crew during the training period and for the race with Yale on June 24, it is expected that the lineup settled on shortly before the Syracuse race last week will remain intact at present.

The seatings in the Freshman crew which has been picked by Coach Haines after a shakeup this week are, Stroke--T. C. Whitney; 7, P. V. Bray; 6, G. T. Keyes; 5, E. A. Kratovil; 4, B. F. Vanderveer; 3, Albert Haberstroh; 2, R. B. Cutler; bow, S. N. Johnson; cox, T. H. Hunter.
