R. L. Slites '34 was elected president of the Eliot House Boat Club in the balloting held Saturday. Other officers chosen were Richard Stackpole '34, vice-president; T. W. Nazro '34, secretary; and Robert Breckinridge '34, treasurer. Stites was recently named associate varsity crew manager, while Breckinridge and Nazro, both members of the Freshman crew last year, rowed on the Elephant eight this spring. Stackpole, who rowed on his Freshman crew and on the third varsity this year, is now on the combination crew.
Through the activity of the club, Eliot was the only House to engage an outside coach, R. L. Anthony 1G.B., during the current season.
