FINAL PLANS MADE FOR FRENCH TALKING MOVIE

Final plans for the next French moving picture were released late yesterday by the French Talking Films Committee. The picture, "Monsieur de Poureeaugnae," is to be presented at the Geography Building at eight showings on Thursday and Friday, January 12 and 13, at 2.15, 4.15, 6.45, and 8.45 o'clock. The additional performances were made necessary to accommodate the large audiences, for many had to be turned away at the presentation of last picture.

The play, a satire on provincial life, was inspired by Moliere's comedy of the same name, produced for the first time before the king at Chambord in 1669. In attempting to make the play as authentic as possible, the producers have spared no pains. All the carriages, furniture and accessories were taken directly from museums in order to have the meetings as true to the times as possible. When the film was first presented in Paris last year if was the most celebrate and expensive that ever left a French studio. The audiences looked to the play and it enjoyed one of the longest and most popular runs ever recorded a moving picture. The list of actors is the kept that France can offer and is headed by Armand Bernard who takes the part of Poureeaugnae that played by Moliere.
