Playing a stronger Dean Academy team at Franklin yesterday afternoon, the Jayvee eleven held their opponents to a 0-0 tie. Dean showed a strong passing attack especially in the first half, but goal-line stands by Harvard kept Dean from scoring.

After the kick-off, Dean immediately carried the ball-down to the goal line, but lost it there on an incomplete pass. Harvard kicked to midfield, and the quarter ended there in a duel of punts.

In the second quarter, Harvard also threatened, but again through an incomplete pass, lost the ball. The half ended with a long punt by the Jayvees.

In the second half, both Harvard and Dean threatened to score, but each attempt ended in failure, and the game ended in midfield.

After the game, Thomas R. Knowles '35, of Middlesex, was chosen captain of the Jayvee team.
