Returning from two years abroad on a travelling, scholarship, Ralph Kirkpatrick '31, will give a recital of 18th century music on the harpsichord and clavichord of that period at 10 o'clock this morning for Music 4.

Kirkpatrick's program will include music by bach, Scarlatti, and Couperis, whose works he has been studying in connection with his work as recipient of the John Knowles Paine travelling scholarship in music.

The instruments upon which he will play are the property of the Division of Music and were built from authentic models of the 18th century by Dolmitsch.

The recital is to be held in the Music Building, and the general public as well as undergraduates are invited.
