CONANT FAMILY MOVED INTO PRESIDENT'S HOUSE IN YARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

President Conant and family moved late yesterday from their old home at 20 Oxford Street to the President's House in the Yard, facing upon Quincy Street. During the past two months the house has been entirely redecorated and refurnished. Although he has officially moved in, the President stated that it would probably take several weeks to get settled and put the household in smooth running order. By that time he hopes to resume the Sunday afternoon receptions to students of the University which were traditional under President Lowell.

The President's House was built in 1912 by President Lowell, on the site of the house formerly occupied by President Eliot.
