COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES FRESHMAN DANCE PLANS

Functioning for the first time as a social unit, the Class of 1937 will hold a tea dance for Freshmen and their guests in the Union on Saturday afternoon after the Army game. Mrs. Delmar Leighton heads a list of twelve patronesses which includes Mrs. James B. Conant and Mrs. Gaspar G. Bacon. The other patronesses who have consented to attend are Mrs. Zabdiel Adams, Mrs. Trowbridge Calloway, Mrs. Leslie Cutler, Mrs. Leslie Friedman, Mrs. Herbert Jacques, Mrs. Matthew Luce, Mrs. Max L. Talbet, Mrs. Henry B. Prout, and Mrs. Edward L. Young.

Dance tickets will cost $1.25 for couples and $1.00 for stags Ruby Newman and his orchestra will supply music, but the size of the orchestra which he will use depends upon the number of seats sold. The Dance Committee, composed of J. M. Calloway, James B. Hallett, and Thomas H. Bilodeau, urges all Freshmen who intend coming to the Dance to buy their tickets immediately so that definite plans for the size of the orchestra can be made at an early date. The Committee also announced that the price of tickets will be advanced at the last minute if not enough are sold in advance.

Girls may be entertained at supper in the Union after the Dance, it was announced. This is the first time this year that members of the class of 1937 have been given the privilege of entertaining female guesis at dinner.
