Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
To the Editor of the CRIMSON:
A committee of students stung by the reproach of your editorial of the fourteenth, has set afoot plans for bringing German films to Harvard. This group, though admitting that the Harvard undergraduate is "tatlos, wenn er denkt," has takes good care that he shall not be "blind, wenn er handelt," by securing the aid of a diligent and experienced patroness, and by investigating carefully the requirements of the undertaking.
The project as it now stands requires two things. First, that all undergraduates who are interested in the matter manifest their interest; second, that they make the manifestation unmistakable by contributing either time or money to the scheme. Of money small contributions in large numbers are needed. Of time much must be donated to handle the large number of small contributions, as well as to carry the burden of administration, which threatens to swamp the small committee now at work.
The committee is eager for response from all those desiring to help, and will appreciate their aid highly. I shall be found ready and willing to see anyone wishing to join in the plans at B31 Lowell House, from 8 to 9 P.M. daily. A.C. Denig, Chairman of the Undergraduate Committee for German Films.
