Intramural Basketball To Start Season Next Week

All Houses Have Games Scheduled For Tuesday and Friday

In preparation for the opening of the intramural basketball season on Tuesday, the organization of the house teams will be completed today. Candidates for the squads will report at the Indoor Athletic Building to Coach Nils Nelson, who will help in organizing and training the players.

Four games have been scheduled to open the season. At 3 o'clock on Tuesday, the Eliot-Dunster and Leverett-Kirkland contests will be played. At 4 o'clock Adams and Brooks will meet Winthrop and Lowell, respectively. All teams will play again on Friday, December 15. At 3 o'clock will be played the Dunster-Kirkland and Lowell-Eliot matches, while Kirkland will meet Adams, and Winthrop will play Brooks at 4 o'clock.

The first half of the schedule is slated to end on Tuesday, January 16, and the second half will start after the mid-year period, on Tuesday, February 6. The winner of the first half will play the winner of the second half in a series of three games during the first week in March. The victor in this tournament will meet the Yale winner at Cambridge on Saturday, March 10.
