LACROSSE SQUAD PRACTICES IN BRIGGS CAGE UNDER POOL

Under the guidance of Coach Robert Pool, about 30 members of the Varsity lacrosse squad are practicing three times a week in the Briggs Cage. At the same time, 15 Freshmen have reported for practice under Coach H. M. Myerson '32, a member of last year's Varsity team.

The present Varsity squad, consisting of several members of last year's Varsity and Freshman teams, scrimmages every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The new rules, which have cut teams down from twelve to ten men, have been put into effect, and as a result of the new legal body checks, face masks are now being used.

With most of the Freshman squad new to the sport, Coach Myerson has been stressing the fundamentals of the game. Vigorous practice in handling the stick, in cradling, and in catching and throwing the ball has been undertaken by the first-year players.
