10 CHOSEN FOR FINALS IN SPEAKING CONTEST

Selection of the ten men who are to be finalists in the speaking contests for the Boylston and Lee Wade prizes was made Saturday afternoon in the New Lecture Hall. These men were picked from a group of 18, who survived a previous elimination trial on Thursday, and will speak in the finals, which are to be held on Wednesday, March 29, at 8 o'clock in Paine Hall, and are open to the public. The judges in Saturday's elimination were R. W. Coues '95, instructor in English, R. S. Hillyer '17, associate professor of English, and G. B. Maynadier '89, assistant professor of English.

The finalists are: G. H. Acheson '33, Lincoin Bryant, Jr. '33, A. B. Gardiner, 3d, '33, H. M. Lawn '34, S. M. Peyser '34, a. e. Phillips, Jr. '34, Leo Srole '33, D. M. Sullivan '33, C. w. Yungblut '34, and J. R. Yungblut '35.

The judges for the finals have not been announced, but they will be chosen in the near future, according to F. C. Packard, Jr. '20, assistant professor of Public Speaking who is in charge
