Cornel West, Harvard Affiliates Call for University to Divest from ‘Israeli Apartheid’ at Rally
Letters asking for unrestricted funds for the University were mailed last night to all members of the Class, of 1933, by S. H. Stackpole '33, class agent in charge of the Fund. The Senior Class Committee issued the following statement at the same time:
"We urge you to remember that everything donated will go with interest to the twenty-fifth anniversary gift of at least $100,000. Anything from one dollar up will go; we are not asking for much in these times. What Stackpole is striving for now, and what we trust he will succeed in getting, is as large a number of contributors as possible."
The statement is signed by the following Seniors: Malcolm Bancroft, chairman, R. H. Hallowell, N. P. Dodge, Jr., P. O. Johnson, H. G. Reisner, Jr., W. A. Adler, D. M. Sullivan, secretary, Hamilton Young, treasurer.
