‘The Architect of the Whole Plan’: Harvard Law Graduate Ken Chesebro’s Path to Jan. 6
"I'll tell you something," a student volunteered. "Something that's new--and something that nearly all the girls will back me up in. And that's this--Wellesley and Harvard are all washed up!"
"No!"
"Yes! The girls here just don't go for Harvard men any more. They prefer 'em grown up."
Whew!
"I'm talking about Harvard College, mind you. Harvard University is all right. Wellesley girls like the men from the Business School and from the Medical School--but not from the college, not any longer at least."
But not all of the girls . . .
"Of course not. Other girls go with Tech men and older and more serious chaps."
Here is the opinion of another student at the college concerning very much the same matter:
"Most of the Wellesley girls--a great many at least--come from out of the State. There are, for example, a great many New York girls here--and their contacts are in New York. That's why some girls are 'date crazy.' They have not the contacts here and, being human, they like a good time. Consequently, when a phone call comes, it is welcomed. But many of the girls have the rather peculiar notion that college is a place for study--and so they do." --Sunday Post.
