New Yorker Named To Head Committee For Freshman Dance, May 26

P. S. Weld '36, of New York City has been named the chairman of the Freshman Jubilee Committee, Shaun Kelly, Jr. '36, president of the Class, announced last night. Plans for the Jubilee, the leading social event of the first year men, which will be held on Friday, May 26, in the Union, are now under way.

There will be dancing from ten to three with a short intermission at midnight for supper, during which entertainment will be provided. Tables are to be set in the two rooms off the main dining hall. The list of patronesses and ushers will be announced in a few weeks.

Weld has nearly finished the task of selecting his committee. A series of weekly meetings of those chosen will be held to make the arrangements for the event.
