The fourth annual Greater Boston Intercollegiate Track Meet will be held tomorrow and Saturday at Soldiers Field, with Harvard entering 148 men, including 71 Freshmen. The entire Freshman and Varsity squads will compete against Tufts, Northeastern, Boston College, M.I.T., and Boston University.
Trials in all events and finals in the Freshman field events of the Greater Boston Intercollegiate Track Meet will be entered from the six competing colleges, including five of last year's winners, Richard Bell (M.I.T.) 100 and 200 yard dashes, R. G. Greave of Northeastern, 440-yard run, E. G. Carey Boston College 220-yard hurdles, E. M. Pierce of M.I.T., pole vault, and G. W. Milbrandt of Northeastern, shot put.
Harvard won the first two meets and Boston College won last year with the Harvard regulars away, facing Princeton. Two records were equalled last bar, and five new records were made.
Among the outstanding Harvard entries who are expected to capture first places are captain N. P. Dodge, Jr. '33, 40-yard ace; J. B. White '34, half-miler; and J. M. Morse '34, versatile middle and long distance racer.
