PHILLIPS BROOKS WILL HOLD CLOTHING DRIVE

The annual spring collection of clothes, books, and magazines will be started today by Phillips Brooks House and continued through Thursday, June 15, it was announced yesterday by G. W. Wickersham '35.

Most of the best clothes received are distributed within the College, while the rest are distributed to needy individuals and charitable institutions around Boston. The books are added to the P. B. H. Loan Library, and are rented during the year. Magazines are given to the Seaman's Institute and other organizations requesting them. The Settlement Houses in Boston receive most of the athletic equipment donated by the students.

Assisting Wickersham in the collection are: R. K. Thorndike '35, Eliot; C. U. Werner '35, Kirkland; E. D. Boynton '35, Winthrop; J. M. Morse '34, Leverett; R. S. Russel '35, Dunster; R. H. Sherwood '35, Adams; W. H. Jeffreys '36, Freshman Dormitories.
