EXPECT PRESIDENT CONANT BEFORE END OF NEXT WEEK

According to reliable reports, President-elect James B. Conant '14 will arrive in America from France before the end of next week. It is probable that he will sail on the Europa. Since he was in France on June 21, when he was officially notified by the Overseers he has not made public any plans.

He is expected to move directly into the President's House on Quiney Street from which President's Lowell's possessions have been taken to his residence on Marlborough Street. President Lowell's term expires September 1, and the inauguration ceremony is tentatively scheduled for that time.
