Varsity Tankmen Score Easy Victory As Leventritt Shatters Own Mark In Breaststroke

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In a meet providing few thrills for the spectators, the Varsity swimming team swamped the Boston Boy's Club outfit, 58-13, yesterday afternoon at the Indoor Athletic Building Pool. M. Victor Leventritt '35, again shattered his breaststroke record by turning in a time of two minutes, thirty-seven seconds, after being pushed for the first four laps.

Except for the 50-yard freestyle, where George C. Scott, Jr. '34 equaled the Harvard record, and the backstroke where Captain Edward E. Stowell '34 although pressed for three laps by Kyle of the Boys' Club, was one-fifth of a second slower than his record, the times turned in were unimpressive.
