INSTRUMENTAL CLUBS TAKE ON NEW MEMBERS

Second Trials to be Held at Music Building Tonight; Extensive Tour Planned for Christmas

First trials of the Instrumental Clubs held at the Music Building last Monday night attracted a large turnout of candidates for the various clubs, which was encouraging to the officials. An equally large number is expected to be on hand for the second trials which are to take place this evening.

The Clubs are planning a varied series of concerts for the winter season to be given both in and about Boston and in more distant parts. The local concerts are to be given at schools such as Andover and Governor Dummer, and in the towns of Milton, Providence, and Weston, as well as at the Country Club in Brookline. As before, the annual Christmas trip will consist of an extended tour through the western part of the country.

Gray, Jr. '37, Richard H. Harris '37, William C. Haskins '37, Howard C. Kellogg '37 Truman P. Kohman '38, Edward A. Mey er '37, Edward O. Miller '37, John F. Purcell '38, Gordon F. Robertson '36, Fitzwilliam Sargent, 3rd. '37, Philip A. Schaffer '37, Paul W. Sears '37, Joseph F. Shepard '37, William H. Smith, 2nd. '37, George H. Spencer '38, Harry F. Stimson '37, Joseph W. Valentine '38, Francis L. H. Wendell '38, Myron A. Wick '37, and Arthur Willis, Jr. '35.

All those interested in vocal or instrumental work, or anyone who has some specialty act, should appear at the trials to be held this evening
