Coach Chauncey staged a big shakeup in the 1937 baseball nine before the game with the Tufts Freshmen yesterday afternoon and the result was a 8-3 victory. Peter Oiney, who has been on the bench all season, was given a position in left field; Tom Bilodeam was returned to his former position at short; and Dave Macintosh was moved in from left field to take the place of Louis Carr.
Thsi new lineup was very effective in stopping the attack of the Jumbos who started strongly in the first two innings. Proctor Avon twirled his pitches to bewilder the lumbering elephants, Bilowy Tom was crashing his hits far into the outfield, and in general the team had rallied from the effect of their defeat by St. John's on Saturday.
Another game is scheduled today with Dean Academy. No definite lineup has yet been announced by the Coach.
