One of our more prominent humorists of last year is embarking on a legal career at the Law School. At one of his first classes, he was called upon to explain a case under discussion. It is said that he stumbled so badly that the professor felt called upon to ask him if he were prepared.
"Well, sort of," he replied.
The professor took off his glasses and subjected his student to an optical investigation. "Sir," he purred, "When you are unprepared, state it, not demonstrate it."
