NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Celebrating the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of Phillips Brooks, the regular morning prayers today in Appleton Chapel will be devoted as a brief memorial to him.

A member of the original Board of Preachers which instituted the system of voluntary college chapel 49 years ago, Phillips Brooks kept up his interest in the religious life of the University throughout the later years of his life.

The officers of Phillips Brooks House will attend this morning's service in his memory.
