REVAMPED LINES FOR PUCK TUSSLE AT PROVIDENCE

With radically revamped forward lines the Varsity Hockey team will take the ice against Brown at Providence tonight, aiming for its third win of the season.

Dewey On First Line

Of the first three forward lines only the Ford-Ecker-Hallowell combination remains as it was at the beginning of the season. In the Moseley No. 1 line Mike Hovenanian has moved over to take Sam Callaway's place at right wing, and Al Dewey, has moved up from the fourth line to left wing position.

John Callaway Moves Up

The sophomore line has been broken up and John Callaway, a junior, has moved in and Ned Cutter out. George Roberts at center and Johnny Mechem complete the line. The game might see other combinations freely used.

The line changes mean little more than that Stubbs is "trying everything" before the team faces the formidable Clarkson six. Harvard is favored over the Brown aggregation and Stubbs is mixing them up in the hope of finding a new smooth unit.

Ash Emerson to See Action

Although Bob Waldinger will start at goal again, Ash Emerson will be ready for the first time this year, is slated to see action. Jim Roberts and Thorny Brown will start at defense, will change off with Art Duffey and Swede Claflin instead of Traff Hicks and Russ Allen.

Over the recess the team will go to Lake Placid, to play three games against Clarkson and one against the Lake Placid Club. During the first week of the reading period the Crimson meet McGill and Princeton.
