Roman Empire Subject for Hammond's Talk Monday

Sponsored by Government Department as Supplementary Lectures

Mason Hammond, '25, assistant professor of History, will continue the series of supplementary lectures sponsored by the Government Department with three talks on the Roman Empire next Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons at 3 o'clock in the Senior Common Room of Lowell House.

Professor Hammond's first talk will be on the background, both historical and intellectual, of the Roman Empire, his second on the Empire's two major periods, and the last on the fall and heritage of the Roman Empire.

Each lecture will last about 45 minutes, allowing 11 minutes or more for questions and discussions by the audience.
