Tommy Hunter to Talk to '38 Cox Candidates at Meeting

Whiteside and Haines to Also Attend Gathering in Union

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tommy Hunter, Varsity cox, will address a meeting of prospective Freshman candidates for that position on the 1938 crew tonight at 7 o'clock in the Upstairs Common Room of the Union. Charlie Whiteside and Bert Haines, Varsity and Freshman mentors, are also scheduled to speak.

Candidates will not be called into service until the ice has broken up on the river, probably about three weeks from now. The winner will go either to Annapolis for the Penn and Navy race May 25 or to New York May 18 for the Columbia-M.I.T. race on the Harlem. Just which meet the Freshmen will enter has not been decided as yet.
