‘The Architect of the Whole Plan’: Harvard Law Graduate Ken Chesebro’s Path to Jan. 6
Minus the services of Leavitt S. White '37, star right forward, the Harvard Varsity basketball team went down to defeat before the Cornell five to the tune of 32 to 28.
Cornell led from the start of the game, and maintained their edge through most of the bitterly fought game. Dick Fletcher again distinguished himself at his guard post, sticking to his man like a leech.
Midget Lon Freed, second high scorer of the League last year, was a potent factor in Cornell's offense. This game lifts Cornell from undisputed last in the League to a tie with the Feslermen for the cellar position.
Tonight the Harvard quintet plays its second travelling game in as many days, meeting the Syracuse five at Syracuse. This is not a League contest, and will hence have no effect on the standings.
