Clashing with Andover Academy here yesterday afternoon the Freshman basketball team won a hard fought game 29 to 22. Both teams were evenly matched so that the outcome was in doubt until the game ended.

Andover scored first on a foul shot, but the Crimson team soon passed them and maintained a one or two point lead over their opponents until the last three minutes of play. The Andover team then tied the score at 20 to 20, but the Samborskimen rallied to finish on top.

The Crimson five made most of their tallies on long shots from behind the foul circle with George F. Lowman leading the offense.
