As the first aftermath of the Peace Strike, several members of the Freshman Union Society will attempt to expunge from the minutes the Society's support of the Strike, it was learned from reliable sources last night.
At its last meeting, March 25, the Society passed a resolution, after a stormy debate, supporting the strike and agreeing to send delegates to a preliminary meeting. The vote was 10-2.
However, since that meeting many members of the Society who were not present when the resolution was passed have expressed strong disapproval, and a movement is on foot to present a motion at the Society's next meeting, April 16, which, if passed, will have the effect of reversing the previous stand of the Society.
