ENGLISH A LECTURES OVER

Monthly Talks Are Discontinued This Semester

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Discontinuance of the four regularly scheduled monthly lectures in English A have been discontinued this year. It was learned from Robert S. Hillver '18 professor of English, in charge of the course.

The lectures have been dropped principally because they add in the machinery of the course, when the aim is to get as much simplicity as possible. Also it was felt that the lectures came too far apart to do much good. None are scheduled for this year and it is not planned to renew them next year.
