Musical Club Adopts Plan of Playing Rarely Heard Music

The first meeting of the year of the Harvard Musical Club, originally scheduled for Wednesday evening, October 21, has been postponed because of the temporary withdrawal of Leonard Bernstoin '39 who was to play two plane solos.

Deviating from its former policy of presenting all kinds of classical music, the club this year is restricting its programs to works not ordinarily heard from the concert platform, including music of little known medieval and Renaissance composers, works by great authors which are seldom performed, modern music which is not frequently heard, and student compositions.

The programs will consist of selections played by members of the club. Officers of the club are; Greevellor W. Cooper 2G, president; A. Jas, P. Larus '39, secretary treasurer; Leonard Bernstein '39, program chairman.
