Prize Photo Competition Ruling Arouses Protests

Crimson Salon Size Restrictions Waived to Suit Exhibitors

Size restrictions for prints have been removed in the new official rules for the Harvard CRIMSON Photographic Salon to take place on November 23 at the Fine Arts Guild. The only restriction as to size for the entries is that they must all be on mounts approximately 16x20 inches. A condensed set of rules follows:

1. All prints must be left at the Fine Arts Guild before 5 p.m. on November 20th.

2. The prize competition is open to all present members of Harvard University and Radcliffe College.

3. There will be a ten dollar prize for color photographs, and the remaining forty dollars will be distributed to the black and whites as the judges see fit. Their decisions will be final.

4. Three prints are allowed entry free, over that will incur an entry fee of twenty-five cents.
