Dedicated to Professor Roscoe Pound, who recently retired as Dean of Harvard Law School, the December issue of the Harvard Law Review, out today, contains articles by Dr. A. Lawrence Lowell on Dean Pound; by Professor Sidnel Post Simpson, of the Harvard Law School, on the course of equity in the past fifty years; and by Samuel C. Wiel, of the San Francisco bar, on the development of the last half century in water law.

Among the student contributions are notes discussing the tax on undistributed corporate profits and the Guffey Coal Act. Other notes, comments on recent decisions, and book reviews complete the issue.
