To fill the newly created post of Chairman of the Freshman Committee, the Phillips Brooks House Cabinet last night appointed Oliver P. Bolton '39, of Lyndhurst, Ohio.

The Freshman Committee, which at present consists of 12 members, is a new phase of Brooks House activity this year. It has proved so successful that the Cabinet has voted to make it a permanent organization headed by a chairman who will have equal rank with the already established Social Service, Foreign Student, and other Committees.
