INTRAMURALS FOR HOUSE MEMBERS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

While it is entirely legitimate for the H.A.A. to charge admission for intramural games with Yale, it would be a mistake to repeat last night's arrangement. The House basketball season was closed in a game preliminary to the Olympic elimination trial between Providence and Springfield. It is obvious that there must have been a considerable number of students who would have liked to witness the climax of Intra-House play but who had no desire to see the other event.

Most of these interested people stayed away from the game but they would have been present if the admission had included an event which would appeal to a Harvard audience. Intramural sports are an important part of the present athletic policy but they will never flourish until the H.A.A. devotes greater care to arranging the key events of intramural schedules.
