BOWDITCH WILL LEAD USHERS ON CLASS DAY

Playfair Announces Appointment of Junior Head Usher for Exercises on Commencement Day

John Bradford Bowditch '37, of Concord, has been appointed Junior Head Usher for the 1936 Commencement Exercises it was announced yesterday by Robert S. Playfair '36, Chairman of the Class Day Comittee.

Bowditch is Managing Editor of the CRIMSON, co-chairman of the Tercentenary Committee, and Student Council member in charge of scholarships.

As part of his duties, Bowditch will select 120 Juniors as ushers for the Baccalaureate Sermon, the Senior Spread and Dance, the Triangle Exercises, and the luncheons, suppers, and dancing to be held in the various Houses. These Juniors chosen will also have to assist in the parade of graduates and undergraduates to the stadium, and in the Chapel Services which is the concluding event on the program.

Letters will be sent to the Juniors selected shortly after vacation and their names will be announced by Bowditch as soon as they have accepted the positions.
