Basketball Five Downs Cornell; Freshmen Win

Avenging a previous 41-33 defeat, Harvard's fighting basketball team swamped Cornell here Saturday night 41-24.

Leaping into the lead soon after the opening whistle, the Crimson held the advantage throughout the game, never allowing the Big Red to threaten.

Bill Gray and George Lowman took the scoring honors, tallying 26 points between them. Gray chalked up 14 and Lowman 12.

In the preliminary, the Crimson Freshmen took an average Dean Academy five, 38-31.
