BALL GAME POSTPONED; LOU CARR BREAKS LEG

Caught by his own spikes and thrown off balance by a sliding baserunner when he attempted to pivot on a double play, Louis B. Carr '37, Varsity infielder, suffered a fracture of the left leg in practice in Briggs Cage yesterday afternoon. Both bones were broken.

With the Columbia game postponed because of wet grounds the squad had retired to drill indoors, where an informal game was in progress at the time Carr broke his leg. A leading utility man, the erstwhile hockey star will be out of action for an indefinite time.

Adzigian on League Team

Eastern Intercollegiate League figures released yesterday for the 1935 season show H. John Adziglan '36 leading all other third basemen with a batting average in 13 games of .304 and a fielding figure of .942.

William A Lincoln '35 rated as the second team pitcher with a hurling average of .857 for 10 contests. He was second in this department to Ted Olson, present Dartmouth captain.

John Kraimer, Cornell, second baseman, Ray Ratajezak, Dartmouth, shortstop, Bill Buckhout, Cornell, left fielder, and Edward Casey, Dartmouth, center fielder, are other men back this year who were selected for the first League team.
