NO CAT YET, BUT YARD COPS TURN UP TWO DACHSHUNDS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Attention of the Yard Police was detracted from frantic searchings from Sarah, the cat, to two dachshunds yesterday.

One of the caretakers has been spending a whole day and is due to spend some more answering calls from Dorchester, Roxbury, and Lowell, all of which claim that they are sure they have the cat. The markings are absolutely identical with the description, say they.

But yesterday a pair of the shortlegged, long-bodied specie of dogs was found about Winthrop House from which they were taken to Apted's office, where they spent the day reclining on his red plush window seat. They will be returned when the owners come for them, soon, Mr. Apted hopes.
