Winning three out of a possible four points on the last day of the Y.H.P.D. College Chess Tournament held in New York during the holiday season, the Crimson team once more emerged victorious.

The University thus retained possession for the second year of the Bolden Stephens challenge trophy, finishing with totals of 8 1/2 to 3 1/2. Princeton, runner-up, scored 8 to 4. Dartmouth completed its schedule in third place with 5 to 7, and Yale finished last with 2 1/2 to 9 1/2.
