Final figures made public at the dean's office yesterday show that the 927 new Freshmen who entered this September come from 41 states, 12 foreign countries, and one territory. All states except Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, North Carolina, North Dakota, and Wyoming are represented.

The foreign countries and the territory are England, France, Japan, India, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Venezuela, Cuba, Australia, Costa Rica, Bermuda, and Hawaii. The number of foreign countries sending students to the Freshman class in the college has increased from 2 in 1933 to 3 in 1934, 4 in 1935, 6 in 1936, and 12 this year.

The figures show that 436, or 47.1 per cent of the class come from New England, 238, or 24.6 per cent, from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
