Outpointing all three Varsity teams, the Freshman fencers placed second only to the Salle d'Armes Poroy group at the New England three weapon meet of the Amateur Fencing League of American last night. The Yardlings scored seven victories to six for the Varsity, while the Salle d'Armes Poroy stood highest with ten points.

Most interesting match of the evening featured Varsity Captain Edward O. Miller '37 and his younger brother, Robert O. Miller '40 in the Epee event. Pushing his older brother, who holds the New England Junior Epee Championship, constantly, Miller, Junior Champion of the Middle West, won 3 to 2.

The final standing in the number of matches won was: Salles d'Armes 10, Harvard Freshmen 7, first Varsity 6, second Varsity 5, third Varsity 2.
