Answering the increased interest, which has been shown in the activities of the Photographic Club, a new darkroom will be opened in the basement of the Union this week, Douglas Mercer '40, chairman of the Union Committee, announced last night.
The room will be used for the first time when the Photographic Club holds its next meeting tomorrow night at 7.30 o'clock.
The enlarging camera and other new equipment has been purchased through the use of funds supplied jointly by the College and the Union Committee.
Dance Saturday Night
On this Saturday night the Union Committee is sponsoring its second dance of the year for the Yardlings. Don Gahan is going to supply the music and tickets which are priced at $1.50 a couple and $1.25 stag are being sold in the various Yard dermitories and at the Union after Thursday.
