All twenty of the speakers contending for the Coolidge Prize and for places on the Harvard-Yale-Princeton debating teams survived the second eliminatory trials, held last night in the Lowell House Common Room.
Edward M. Rowe '27 declared that last night's speakers provided such stiff competition that he was unable, at these tryouts to single out individuals unworthy of retention for further tests.
