Yale Puts Final O.K. on Major Sport Rating for Basketball
NEW HAVEN, Apr. 21 (Special to CRIMSON): Agitation for the promotion of basketball to a major sport, which was begun at Yale before it was recommended at Harvard, received its final and official benediction from the Board of Athletic Control last night.
Basketball will take its place with the other major sports next fall.
