Hall Elected to Captaincy Of Next Year's Pistolmen

Places Second in Intra-Team Contest Last Night

At the conclusion of their annual and final shooting party of the year in memorial Hall range last night, members of the pistol team elected A. Harmon Hall '38 captain for next year. Lawrence J. Arnold '38 was named as manager.

Harry F. Hinckley, Jr. '40 won last night's intra-team contest, with Hall second, and Edward C. K. Read '40 third.

Four events on the program consisted of firing at a pendulum target, out-lining an 'H', puncturing a poised beer can so as to let as much of the liquid as possible escape, and the grand duel tourney. In this event, won by Read, each man shoots at a paper model of his opponent, with the first to pierce his foe's heart declared the winner.
