UNDERDOG YARDLINGS UPSET YALE NINE, 6-2

Healey Pitches for Crimson in surprise Win Over Highly Favored Yale Team At Soldiers Field

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Behind the brilliant pitching of Tom Healey who chalked up his third victory in three starts, the Yardling baseball team turned in the best performance of the season in upsetting the Yale Freshmen 6-2 yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field.

With a not too impressive record of eight wins and nine losses before yesterday's encounter, victory in the objective game of the Samborski-coached nine climaxed the season with success.

The teams were tied at two-all at the end of the third, but the Crimson sewed up the contest by scoring two in the seventh and two in the eighth.
