Eleven Crimson track men are entered in the annual K. of C. Prout Games tomorrow night in the Boston Garden.
Four of the eleven are entered in the high hurdles, Mason Fernald '40, Sherman Hoar '40, Donald Donahue '41, and Roger Schafer '41. The Sophomore and Freshman hurdlers are up against the country's strongest competition, with record holders Sam Allen, "Spec" Towns, Jack Donovan, and Bill Watson running.
Alex Northrop is the sole Harvard runner in the 1000, and Al Hanlon will wear the Crimson in the 600 yard distance.
Hobart Lerner '40, and Sparks Sorlien '38 are entered in the 300. With six or seven in a heat, these boys will have diffculty getting the lead at the start, let alone keeping it with such stars as Roderkirchen, O'Sullivan, and Carlsen running. Sorlien is also entered in the dash event. He and Bobbie Gammons '39 will have to beat Marty Glickman, Ben Johnson, and Eulace Peacock to win, and observers are not overly optimistic.
