Freshman Quintet Has Good Material for Tech Contest
Stahleymen Are Now Practicing With Small Squad
Coach Skip Stahley is now running this Freshman basketball squad of 25 men through a stiff practice six times a week. Although he would make no promises about the prospects for the season, Coach Stahley, pleased with the fact that there are several large men on the squad, would admit that material this year was better than last.
About 50 men turned out for the first call to practice on November 3, but this squad has been cut to 25. There will be another cut sometime next week when the squad will be reduced to 15 men.
The final team will play the Massachusetts Institute of Technology freshmen at Tech on Tuesday, December 6, 1938.
